Welcome to Adventure English. Our company specializes in the organization of immersion English camps at our locations in London and The Lake District, England. Our camps are held over three weeks, allowing sufficient time for students to really challenge their language skills through an array of rewarding and exciting educational tasks.
During their stay, students study a minimum of 20 hours a week in the classroom with qualified and experienced native English teachers. To ensure students are receiving the necessary guidance and tuition required to progress during their stay, classes never exceed 10 students per class. Our lessons provide opportunities for students to develop language skills and vastly improve confidence, in order to use English in natural conversation. This is further developed outside the classrooms during our structured educational city tours, school visits, cultural visits and specialist activity courses.
We work in partnership with Leeds Metropolitan University’s Great Outdoors Center, who provides a range of professionally organized, safe, outdoor activities. These exciting activities complement our program and help to improve students; leadership skills, team-working, confidence and communicational English.
Our English program is structured to provide students with the opportunity to practice and improve their language ability. Students will study 20 hours a week in the class with our qualified instructors, but will be expected to speak English at all time throughout their stay.
The activity program is designed in partnership with Leeds Metropolitan Universities, Great Outdoors Center to help students relax and thoroughly enjoy their learning experience. All interaction with activity instructors, supervisors and students is in English, providing a safe, fun and practical learning situation.
During this camp, students will have the opportunity to visit some of the UK’s most interesting, historical and fascinating cities. The trips allow for students to broaden their knowledge of The United Kingdom through informative and structured tours to London, Edinburgh, York, Keswick and Manchester.
